Pitch-in Ditch Garbage Clean-up event

As Trails are still closed for Spring Thaw, we will conduct a garbage clean-up along the roads near our trails to ensure things look good for opening day.
The township has provided the garbage bags and gloves for us, but I would recommend that you bring your own gloves that fit you. We will gather at Angelo’s at 9am and put a plan together depending how many volunteers we get.
ATV’s will not be required, but we will have our Club Ranger with small dump trailer and I will be towing the Clubs large dump trailer. Some of the ditches may be wet, so bring your rubber boots or hip waders. We will spend about 4-5hrs cleaning the ditches and then we will have a road-side bbq after the clean-up. If you can only do an hour or two, that is ok too.
If you are interested, please send email to info@johnstownatvclub.org many hands make light work. Also, if any students need volunteer hours, please bring them along.
